Are there any prerequisites in order to become certified with Alexandria Professional®?

While there are some exceptions in certain countries, most require a license to perform hair removal services. So in most cases in order to take our course you must either be licensed to perform such services or be in school to obtain such a license.

Does Alexandria Professional® recognize the certification from other companies in advanced sugaring?

If you are switching to AP from another sugar company, we provide you the opportunity to take our exam, both practical and theory. This ensures that AP standards in knowledge and technique are met giving all clients the highest caliber of professional body sugaring.

Why do I have to take a 2 Day Course?

Regardless of how long you have been performing hair removal professionally and which product type you have become accustomed to using, once you become involved with AP professional sugaring, you are committing to an entirely new skill based method.

It is generally recognized in the beauty industry that the subject of hair removal is given very little attention. This is surprising in view of the fact that hair removal can be very traumatic to the client. What’s more, hair removal can cause numerous adverse reactions depending on the condition of the skin and hair before epilating/extracting the hair.

We require our new practitioners to come back for their FREE refresher class within 30 days to tweak their technique and help prevent bad habits from taking place. AP practitioners are encouraged to keep coming back for more AP advanced classes.

Are the Alexandria Products professional?

YES – all Alexandria Professional® products are certified and approved by North American and European Manufacturing Standards.

AP professional sugaring classes and products are offered to beauty professionals only. However, we recognize the need for client support products and provide a variety of products that can be retailed to your clients for home use

Is AP Advanced Sugaring approved for CEUs ?

Each State Board has their own specific requirements and it the responsibility of the licensee to verify with their state board if they will accept the hours of the course for CEUs. Alexandria Professional® can provide necessarily documentation if needed once the practitioner verifies with their state board.

Alexandria Professional® is an independent manufacturing company and our courses are dedicated to helping salons unlock the professional, financial, and consumer benefits of body sugaring for the betterment of their business. Any extended benefits or qualifications, like a state regulated CEU, are only a complement to our provided education and must be thoroughly researched by the trainee.

Is Alexandria Professional® Insured?

Yes, we have full manufacturer insurance for all our products and courses. We are very proud that NO claims have been processed against Alexandria Professional®. Proof of insurance is available upon request to professionals.
